Hello, my friends! Well, it being a rainy morning out here in Houston, and since I've been getting excited about the Everfree Northwest Scribblefest 2016 contest, I thought I'd do some reviews! For those of you who haven't read my entry, Marble's Horizon, I hope you'll give it a look and tell me what you think. It's getting a very slow build and hasn't gotten a feature or anything, but nearly everyone seems to like it
And I'm back for round 2! I've gotten through another three stories that have all been submitted to the 2016 Scribblefest and I'm going to give my own thoughts regarding whether I liked them or not and who I'd recommend them to, depending on your tastes. Hopefully a few of you will find something cool to read from these blogs, and if you already found something you enjoyed, please post it in the comments below, so I can make reading it a priority.
Today’s set of reviews is courtesy of Scribblefest and (in one case) the Royal Guard. I haven’t written reviews for every story I’ve read for Scribblefest, but I ended up writing reviews for several of them; note that if you are a Scribblefest competitor, my word on your story is not the final word. We’re presently doing the prelim-round judging, wherein three judges read each entry and nominate them for a category, and I am but one of nine judges involved.
Anyway, onto the reviews!
